What do you like to do for fun? Maybe you like to swim, ride your bike, play sports or just spend time with your friends. At Camp Lincoln & Camp Lake Hubert you can do all of that and more! We offer over 30 land, water and adventure activities for you to choose from while at camp.
Following their first meal at Camp, Campers choose and sign up for four activities. Two of these activities take place in the morning, with the remaining two activities taking place in the afternoon. They will participate in these activities for three days (we call these three-day periods a “block”). At the end of each block, Campers then sign up for a new set of four activities to participate in for the next three-day “block.” Campers will also participate in pre-scheduled evening activities as a cabin, strengthening the bond and friendships between cabinmates and staff .
As an ACA Accredited Camp, safety is key at all times. In accordance with ACA Standards, some activities at camp may have limited space. When Campers sign up for their activities, they are asked to list four alternate activities, just incase their original choice is full. We make every effort to ensure that all Campers who wish to participate in an activity get to try that activity at least once. Campers are also required to wear necessary safety equipment for the activities they choose – such as harnesses, life jackets and helmets. In our commitment to safety, the Camps willl provide all safety equipment needed. |

One of our goals at Camp is to teach Campers Skill Development. In order to accomplish that, we offer awards for Campers to earn in each activity. Once they have completed a task or skill that meets the pre-designed criteria, they will earn their award. Each activity has their own set of awards and criteria. Awards are given out during the Final Banquet which is at the end of the Camper's session.
Unlike other camps, there is no “extra cost” for Campers to participate in our camp activities. All activities are included in the cost of camp! We also provide all necessary equipment for each activity. However, if you have a favorite ball glove or fishing pole that you want to bring to camp, please feel free to do so!
Before Campers come to camp, we encourage them to think about what activities they want to participate in! Take a look below at a small sample of the activities that we offer at Camp Lincoln & Camp Lake Hubert .
