Marianne LeVine

  • Experience: I attended CLH from my sixth grade summer to the summer of my sophomore year. CLH was always the highlight of my summer, and I’m so excited to be coming back this year as a counselor! I was an LT my last year at CLH, which I really enjoyed. I remember participating in the wide range of activities CLH has to offer and having a wonderful time getting to know my cabin mates, some of whom I remain in touch with to this day.

Shay-Lin Magnuson

  • Current School/Occupation: University of Notre Dame. I am a ALPP (Arts & Letters Pre-Professional) major, which is composed of Sociology and Pre-Medicine as well as a Peace Studies minor. I hope to join the Peace Corps upon graduation and then attend medical school to become a pediatrician. I would like do international aid work with nonprofit organizations such as Doctors Without Borders.
  • Experience: In high school, I was a STARS teen leader (Students Today Aren’t Ready For Sex) in which I served as a positive role model for local middle schoolers, and I was trained in conflict resolution management. I have been a member of Freshman Orientation staff in both high school and college and have extensive tutoring experience. I have tutored many subjects in high school and worked with a special needs child who had ADHD and behavioral issues. At Notre Dame, I tutor 3 times a week at the Robinson Community Learning Center and the South Bend Juvenile Correctional Facility.

  • Experience: I have been fortunate to have been involved with youth work and camp for the majority of my life.  As a former camper and LT, I had the opportunity to assist in activities, work with youth in cabins during my cabin stays, and lead many other activities.  Outside of the camp environment, I have been heavily involved in tutoring programs.  In high school, I tutored grade school kids once a week and have been able to tutor once a week at a school in my college community.
