Welcome, Blake and Niki  Two new staff join the Camp Lincoln and Camp Lake Hubert full-time team.  In September, we welcomed Blake Holman as our Staff Recruitment Intern.   Blake has been associated with the camps for 13 years, as camper and staff member, and we are excited to have him working with us in recruiting our top notch staff.  Check out more details on Blake Holman .  In addition, we are delighted to introduce Niki Kolb as Assistant Director for Camp Lake Hubert.  Niki joined us in late November.  While she hails from South Africa (and has a charming accent), Niki has a strong background in resident camps, having spent many summers at camps in Wisconsin and California.   We know that campers and parents will enjoy getting to know Niki in the months ahead.  Learn more about Niki.

Parent Handbook, Travel and Important Forms   Our 2008 edition of our Parent Handbook, as well as our Health Form, Travel Information, and Camper Data Form, will soon be off the press and in the mail by mid February.   They will also be on-line for quick reference and with download capability.  Please read over the information and return the completed forms by May 1, 2008.

100th Anniversary Plans   Yes, we are already busy with the planning stages for the big celebration in 2009.   While we are focusing on this coming summer, our 99th season; some work is being done in preparation for our 100th celebration.  A new celebration Icon will soon set the stage for all upcoming communications, and we hope that our alumni from all generations will join us for the celebration events in 2009.  Look for our 100th Anniversary navigation bar on the website, with a link to provide your update information and to indicate your interest in attending our upcoming Celebration.   You will want to be “in the know” as details are announced.

Watch for Email Invoices  This year, we are emailing as many summer 2008 invoices as possible.   We hope that you find this to be a convenient and efficient way to handle the billing process.  Please let us know if you have any questions or if you prefer billings to another email address or to your home or other address.  A second payment is due February 1st, so please refer to the acknowledgement letter and enclosure for details.   Call us with any questions – 800-242-1909.
