Welcome to Camp Lincoln & Camp Lake Hubert’s New Blog!

Monday, April 19th, 2010

We are excited about introducing our new Camp Lincoln and Camp Lake Hubert Website.   It has been quite a process indeed, and while Jenna Campbell has been the super star and lead guru in making it happen, we all have enjoyed being a part of it.    Please take some time to check it out and let us know what you think of the navigation, photos, copy and general “feel” of the site.   You will notice that we are encouraging our campers and alumni to connect via our own social network site called, The Virtual Campfire.   Join us around the “campfire” and share some of your stories, photos, and memories of camp.   It is easy to join, so log on today.

Here it is April 19th, and in Minnesota it already feels like summer, as the weather has been amazingly warm and sunny for springtime.   Here comes a wonderful summer, and we can hardly wait!   Marty Gitchell and his crew up north are already getting camp ready with spring mowing, raking, boat repair, roofing, clean up, painting, plumbing and more.   Work on the field archery range is well underway, so it should be ready by the first of June.   Come on, your archers!

The spring Railsplitter is in the mail, too, so watch for this in your mailbox.   It is full of news about the summer and lists all those campers enrolled as of March 27th.   Are you on the roster?   If not, let us know as we would love to see you at camp.

Back to you soon….
