Leadership Program

Camp Lake Hubert’s Leadership Training (LT) Program is a leadership development program specific to young women currently in 10th and 11th grade. For many, it is a natural continuation of their personal growth and development, that is an important part of everyday camp. At the LT Program’s core is the goal of teaching life skills that prepare young women for life outside of camp. We focus on personal growth through working with others and children.

LTs represent Camp Lake Hubert and bear the responsibility in upholding the integrity of the program. Those selected into the LT Program will participate in many of Camp Lake Hubert’s longstanding traditions. LTs will also make significant contributions toward the overall quality of the camp community.

The LT Program is divided into two Phases, each having a specific purpose and goal, offered only during our four-week sessions. Successful completion of Phase I is a prerequisite for consideration into Phase II. The competitive application process typically begins in September and wraps up by mid-December. Enrollment is limited to ensure the quality of leadership that is integral to this program.

Young women who are committed to doing their best to fulfill the LT Program’s requirements and hold themselves, and camp’s traditions, in high esteem, should contact Shay Magnuson at shay@lincoln-lakehubert.com to further discuss the separate application process and the program’s benefits.

Each summer Addy has come back with increased confidence in herself, and a new level of independence. She holds her head high speaking about the new skills she learned.
