The Return of the Legendary Camp Lincoln Trips Program

After a six-year break, we're beyond excited to welcome back one of our most iconic traditions: the Camp Lincoln Wilderness Trips Program!

This summer, campers in Session 1 and Session 2 will have the opportunity to connect with nature in a deep and meaningful way through overnight camping and wilderness adventures. From paddling across breathtaking Minnesota lakes to hiking scenic forest trails, these trips have been a core part of the Camp Lincoln experience for generations—and now, they're back and better than ever.

Cabins eligible for adventure will sign up just days before departure, adding an element of spontaneity and excitement. Not here for a full session? No problem! Half-session campers will get their own dose of adventure during an overnight campout just off camp property, complete with campcraft skills like fire-building, tent-pitching, and of course, s'more-making.

We've invested in brand-new gear, expert trip leaders from around the world, and enhanced safety protocols, ensuring every camper enjoys a safe, fun, and empowering outdoor experience.

Axe Throwing: A New Spin on Evening Activities at Camp Lincoln

Unleash your inner lumberjack—axe throwing is officially coming to Camp Lincoln! This brand-new evening activity brings a mix of fun, focus, and friendly competition to our Wilderness Area.

Under the careful guidance of trained instructors, campers will learn the fundamentals of axe throwing in a safe, structured environment. It's more than just a thrill—it's a confidence-building challenge that encourages patience, precision, and personal growth.

Campers in full sessions will have the chance to try their hand during special cabin time. And depending on camper feedback, this could become a staple of our summer camp activities in years to come!

High Ropes—Now for All Ages!

For the first time ever, Camp Lincoln's high ropes course is open to campers of all ages!

Thanks to newly updated safety systems and a passionate team of certified instructors, we've eliminated the old "12 and up" rule—meaning every camper can now climb, swing, and zipline their way through the treetops.

This change opens the door to new experiences for younger campers and lets everyone challenge themselves in a supportive, growth-focused environment. Whether it's your first time on the ropes or your tenth, there's always something new to conquer at Camp Lincoln.
