History

A History Of Excellence Rooted In Tradition

Since its inception in 1927, Camp Lake Hubert has woven a tapestry of tradition and excellence on the shores of Lake Hubert. Founded by Brownie Cote, the camp's early days saw the construction of buildings that still stand today. Under the guidance of Dr. William and Grace Rogers, alongside Brownie Cote, Chuck Everett, and Fred Rogers, the camp flourished. Their vision of a multi-activity camp for girls mirrored the success of Camp Lincoln for Boys.

In 1970, Bill Jones joined the leadership team, propelling Camp Lake Hubert into a new era of growth and innovation. Today, with a legacy of strong leadership and a diverse camper base, Camp Lake Hubert stands as a premier all-girls camp.
