Stacey Dyer at Camp Lincoln and Camp Hubert Nisswa Minnesota

Stacey Dyer

Director of Camp Lake Hubert
Stacey hails from Colorado, where she grew up at Sanborn Western Camp, where her father was a Director. She joined the Camp Lake Hubert family for 5 years as a camper, including the LT program, and more years on staff when she did everything from a counselor, to High Ropes Activity Director. Stacey has returned to the shores of Lake Hubert for many summers assisting with staff training and now works year-round from her home in Ft Collins, CO. At camp, Stacey can be found at the barn, at the range, on the waterfront, in the kitchen or even making "monkey bread" for a snack. At home, Stacey finds time to work with children doing aquatic therapy.

Favorite Camp Activity: High Ropes

Best Camp Memory: Taking the horses for a swim in Lake Hubert

Favorite Camp Meal: BLT Sandwiches

Childhood Hobbies: Horseback Riding

Favorite Camp Core Value: Excellence

Goofiest thing I've done at Camp: Making 24 loaves of banana bread at one time using Camp's 100-year-old mixer. Best bread ever and I am sure it was all about the mixer.

Augusta Loehrer at Camp Lincoln and Camp Hubert Nisswa Minnesota

Augusta Loehrer

Director of Staffing and Operations
Growing up in Northern Minnesota, Augusta is no stranger to life in the woods; if you get the chance, you should ask her about the time she was locked in the house with a bear! After graduating college with a degree in Youth Ministry, she spent time serving young people in Minnesota and Indiana where she met a lot of amazing people, heard some incredible stories, and got a little teased for her thick Minnesotan accent. After returning home, she took a job as a director at the camp she grew up at before finding herself on the shores of Lake Hubert! Despite people always knowing exactly where she is from, Augusta has visited 30 states and 26 countries with hopes to add more. When she's not traveling or getting into shenanigans you can find her at a coffee shop with a good book, spending time with friends, or walking Buster the dog with her husband, Brian. Augusta loves her Chacos, Diet Coke, dirt track racing, and the Vikings-probably in that order!

Favorite Camp Activity: Anything on the water-I really love the zipline or running the weenie!

Best Camp Memory: Every time Canadian Wilderness or Linger is sung at a campfire.

Favorite Camp Meal: Buffalo Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Childhood Hobbies: Reading, climbing trees, reading in the trees, driving ATVs on the trails, outdoor neighborhood games, swimming, and baking!

Favorite Camp Core Value: Quality relationships-I think people are so important. Camp provides the perfect opportunity to learn from people you would have never interacted with before or to meet someone exactly where they are at for exactly who they are! Camp allows us to connect with one another in a truly genuine way.

Goofiest thing I've done at Camp: I once told some campers that if they found two leeches I would wear them as earrings. A year later they remembered and I stayed true to my word! I would not recommend them as your next fashion statement.
