At Camp Lincoln for Boys and Camp Lake Hubert for Girls, our century-plus legacy isn't just about fun, it's about nurturing tomorrow's leaders through shared experiences. Nestled on opposite shores of Lake Hubert, our camps offer a dynamic environment where campers unlock new skills, build confidence, and learn to lead, both on the ropes course and in life.

Leadership in the Great Outdoors

Every summer, over 1,200 campers from 40 states and 12 countries experience our camps. Here, amidst 400 acres for boys and 120+ acres for girls, they dive into more than 40 land and water activities—from climbing, canoeing, sailing, and mountain biking to archery, dance, crafts, and martial arts.

Each activity, whether mastering the climbing wall or steering a canoe, becomes an opportunity for self-discovery and leadership development.
Campers select their own schedule, immersing themselves in three-day activity blocks—encouraging commitment, skill progression, and personal responsibility.

Building Community & Character

Our mixed landscape fosters independence and interdependence. New and returning campers learn empathy, problem-solving, and peer mentoring. Seasonal staff—a blend of collegiate athletes, teachers, and coaches—serve as living examples of leadership in action, guiding campers through challenges.

From Ropes Course to Real-World Confidence

Facing a physical obstacle like the high-ropes course builds trust, fosters communication, and encourages campers to step up for each other. Likewise, at the archery range or in musical ensembles, campers learn focus, patience, and the value of continuous improvement, cornerstones of leadership.

Girls Empowered at Camp Lake Hubert

Since 1927, Camp Lake Hubert has specialized in nurturing girls' leadership. Through a robust mix of activities from gymnastics to windsurfing, our girl campers build resilience, self-esteem, and a sense of agency. Counselors and role models encourage girls to step outside their comfort zones, reinforcing that every challenge is a lesson in leadership.

Boys Explore Teamwork

Camp Lincoln's 400-acre camp and counsellors introduce boys to leadership through team sports, wilderness navigation, and cabin camaraderie. Camp songs, evening Jell-O Wars, and lakefront ceremonies all reinforce a culture of belonging and shared challenges.

Lifelong Leadership Beyond Camp

The transformation we see each summer is striking: Timid campers return home as confident communicators and decisive leaders. As one parent shared, "My 3 children have loved every minute… they are strong, confident individuals today because of the experiences and leadership opportunities."
